Zelda Online
I have been starting this project over and over, always failing because of some major bug i cant fix.. but i might just have found a solution!
In one word, Crystalshire, its a heavily modified version of the widely known Eclipse engine, which for those of you who dont know is a free 2d online game engine coded in VB6, mind you the Crystalshire modification of it was not free so dont ask me for a download for the engine itself.
The biggest thing (i think) with this version of the engine is the DirectX 8 support, which allows more transparency and better speed then the other versions of Eclipse, thus letting you remove the ugly ass borders and menus that take up more of the screen then the game itself and leaving it looking rather awesome like this:

The great thing about the Eclipse engines though is the fact that you can make most of the game from inside the game itself! Thats right, as long as there are no new graphics, music or code changes to the client, there is no need for manual updates as the updates will happen right in front of your eyes.
Anyway, because of this im now able to make some small modifications, adding some graphics il be using and then release the game as an alpha version very early so that people can try it out and help me test the server while i create the game, so on that note.. check back soon for an update and maybe even a website!
As for Chrono Battle, i have NOT stopped working on it >_> i have simply been doing other things.. BUT ive recently been working on it a bit more and spent 3 WHOLE DAYS making ONE stage, i probably doubled my enemy types in that one stage alone (experimenting with homing bullets, homing bouncing bullets, special bullet patterns that make bullet patterns that make bullet patterns (no really not kidding), epic boss battle etc..), so just to let you know.. i havent given up on that!
Anyway il try to update this blog more then i have recently too so check back soon!

Demo!
Okay, so i know i havent been posting a lot on this blog, ive been kinda lazy lately, however i did finish up a small demo of Chrono Battle for a friend of mine to try and since i havent been posting much i figured it would be a nice thing to upload this for other people who might want to try it out too, so enjoy!
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6GO6BQ3A (if you want me to upload it somewhere else, leave a comment and i will)
Controls:
Z - Attack / Action
Hold Shift - Focus mode
Arrow keys - Move around / Menu
Now, this is only the first two stages of the game and the second stage really isnt done yet (i still have to tweak the boss a little), but other then that it should be pretty playable, but keep in mind that its still very undone, the menu and game over screen will change as well as some of the stuff in game (i wanna add a magic system)
Anyway, let me know what you think if you try it out, im always looking for feedback, if its about what i can do to to improve it, bugs or simply random suggestions!

So, im actually starting a blog!
Yes indeed, ive been wanting to start a blog for a while now actually, but i always figured i wouldn’t have anything interesting to post on it..
Well, im doing it, and it will most likely be based around the games and stuff i make or work on, so to get started il post some info about my newest project.. Chrono Battle (title might change)
Chrono Battle will be a simple yet challenging shooter based on Chrono Trigger, anyone familiar with Touhou will know exactly what im trying to do based on this picture:

As a word of warning, the game wont be very noob-friendly, and will be 6 stages long.. one for each of the time periods in CT and a 7th special stage for “the end of time” which i plan on making extremely hard.
As for the games status.. ive made 2 stages so far, i still have the title screen to fix up and the magic system il have to make from scratch, but il be posting updates here as i go (along with a demo soon), so check back or follow me to get updates on the game!
